The Miami Dolphins are having a hard time getting fans to show up for home games.  Those who choose to show up on Sunday will be in for a treat.

The Dolphins will be giving out free throwback hats with the team’s original logo and “Still Perfect” on the back, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the 17-0 season of 1972.  The hats will be distributed at the various gates to Sun Life Stadium, with former Dolphins like Hall of Famer Bob Griese doing the honors.

Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post has the full list of who will be at which gate.  In all, 27 former players will be there.

The current Dolphins could probably use a few of them when it’s time to play the Raiders.
